The performing arts are ubiquitous in Freeport. Most of the night scene revolves around live bands of Bahamian and reggae music. In addition, there are two non-profit organizations, the Freeport Players' Guild and the Grand Bahama Players, that stage cultural productions at the Regency Theater constantly throughout the year. For information and a schedule, you can call 242-352-5533.

The Grand Bahama Performing Arts Society also puts on concerts, stage productions, and other performances throughout the year.

See Freeport Nightlife for more information about live bands that play regularly, but keep an eye out for posters and ask around to find out where music will be when you are on the island.  It's not always easy to find out where to go to hear live bands and concerts unless you're in the loop, so you have to do a little legwork as times are inconsistent.
