The Johnston studio’s Art Colony is located in Little Harbour, 20 miles south of Marsh Harbour on the Island of Abaco. It is accessible by road or boat. The attractions are the original bronze foundry of the late Randolph Johnston, the only bronze-casting foundry in the Bahamas. Randolph is responsible for the National Monuments in capital city of Nassau, such as the Sir Milo Butler Bust the Bahamian Woman and the Sir George Roberts bust. There are Educational tours and demonstrations of the Lost Wax Casting method along with A Museum and Gallery, displaying the works of Randolph, his son Peter Johnston and Grandson Tyler Johnston. Little Harbour also features the world-renowned Pete’s Pub, famous for its rum punches and fish burgers. Little Harbour is home to a 200 year old Light-House and real Pirate Caves were the Johnston Family took refuge during their homestead in the 1950s. The Harbour also hosts a rich marine habit protected for future generations to enjoy.
