Many people arrive at Las Caletas via shore excursions from cruises. The boat ride to the hideaway is very scenic and the beach is idyllic. Though you may sometimes encounter jellyfish, this can still be a nice spot for swimming, and it's a great place to relax on the beach.  If you're hungry, a buffet is served at tables overlooking the beach amidst palm trees. You can have your picture taken with monkeys,  and there are colorful parrots too.
