Sadly, the Muros museum is no more. In its place is an interactive children's museum called Papalote Museo del Niño seen at http://www.papalote.org.mx

This superb museum opened in 2004 to house the Gelman Collection of Mexican Art: works by Rivera, Kahlo and their contemporaries, many commissioned by the Gelmans themselves, as well as by major living artists such as Francisco Toledo and Gabriel Orozco. The Gelmans were Russian emigres and he made his money as producer of the movies of the great Mexican comic, Cantinflas. The museum itself is a fine building by a top architect, partially incorporating a salon hung with frescoes from a hotel that used to stand on the site.
