Otates on Fifteen offers authentic Mexican fare, tasty and cheap. Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas and the like. For five bucks you can have a good meal and a beer. As you can imagine very popular place with the locals.

The tacquerias are a great value for dinner -- they open late 7-8pm. Recommended is El Pique on Ave. 30 Norte (across the street from the San Francisco supermarket.) For a real taste of Mexico, try Chilango's on Ave. 30. Another place that opens around 7pm -- a "hurache" (very large taco) is $2. Add a lemonade& it's dinner for $3.

La Parilla MIssion, Ave. 30 between Calles 2 & 4 Norte serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at very good prices -- take out or eat in. Famous for their breakfasts, Chile Relleno, Chicken Mole and Carne Asada. Well priced breakfasts are also available at Sonora Grill and Le Chef. The Casa Mexicana breakfast buffet is an all-you-can eat affair with made-to-order eggs for around $10 per person -- also, it opens early for divers, 7am.
