There are plenty of sports and activities available in Cheltenham to keep all of its visitors thoroughly entertained.

Cricket is a huge sport throughout all of England, and this in no different in Cheltenham.  The Cheltenham College has a beautiful location for watching and playing both cricket and rugby.  Every year since 1872, the C&G Cheltenham Cricket Festival has been held in this city.  The 2006 Festival will be held between the 26th of July and the 6th of August, and should offer plenty of excitement for its spectators.

The local football team are Cheltenham Town Football club and play in Coca Cola League One (two leagues down from the Barclaycard Premiership).  The Robins (as they are known) play at Whaddon Road and the season kicks off in August and finishing in May.  Tickets for home games start at £13 for adults.
