Yorkshire Dales National Park - Guided Walk Programme

From Easter to the end of October the National Park run a comprehensive guided walk programme that uses volunteers from their dedicated Dales Volunteers plus local experts. The walks all vary in length from a stroll round some of the Dales villages to high level fell walks, plus more specialist walks looking at farming, the work of the rangers, flowers and birds. They publish the programme on www.yorkshiredales.org.uk, then follow the links for events, plus they also publish a newpaper available at the National Park Information Centres and adjacent Tourist Information Offices that has the details in. Most walks have a small charge for adults and for most walks there is no need to prebook.
