Originally part of the Stratford-Honeyborne railway, the Stratford Greenway has been transformed by Warwickshire County Council into a  5mile traffic free cycle and walking path which forms part of the Sustrans National Cycle Network (route5).

Starting on the Western side of town at Seven Meadows Road, it heads out of town along the river and racecourse. You can get a great view of the racing on race days!

At the start of the track there is a visitors car park, at the end of which are two refurbished railway carriages which are a cafe and cycle hire (Stratford Bike Hire). Halfway along the Greenway at Milcote Crossing there is another Carriage Cafe which does fantastic teas and cakes!

There are a number of  walking and cycle routes routes and you can visit the nearby villages of Welford and Long Marston. Both have lovely pubs to stop and have a drink or a bite to eat.
