Originally part of the Stratford-Honeyborne railway, the Stratford Greenway has been transformed into a 5mile traffic free cycle and walking path which is part of the Sustrans National Cycle Network.
Starting on the Western side of town at Severn Meadows Road, it heads out of town along the river and racecourse. At the start of the track there are two refurbished railway carriages which are a cafe and cycle hire. Halfway along the Greenway there is another Carriage Cafe which does fantastic teas and cakes!
There are a number of walking and cycle routes routes and you can visit the nearby villages of Welford and Long Marston. Both have lovely pubs to stop and have a drink or a bite to eat.
