There is plenty of information about Coventry available online, which can be very useful to people planning a trip to the Warwickshire region.

A good place to begin doing some research is on the website of the Official Visitor’s Guide to Coventry and Warwickshire. This site has plenty of useful information about how to get there, where to stay, what to do, where to eat, where to shop, and more.  A great feature of this site is the Events Calendar, which has a search function for people to find out what is happening during any time of the year.

Another useful resource is the Coventry City councial website, which also has a Tourism Page. The information provided here covers the basics of travel to the area, and has a variety of links for different area-related businesses and departments.

The tourist information centre in currently located at the base of the sprire of the old cathedral. There is also tourist leaflets available in the central library opposite WH Smiths, in the main pedestrianised precinct.

The Visit Britain website also contain information on the area.

A good way to get to know an unfamiliar area better is by studying its geography. Get started by looking at a Map of England, a Map of Warwickshire, and a Map of Coventry.
