Oban is full of sports activities for visitors to enjoy. Because of its beautiful natural scenery biking is popular among tourists and locals alike. Golfing is also a popular activity in Oban and the city has a few nice courses to choose from. The Tourism Board recommends the Glencruitten Golf Club, a beautiful 18-hole course located on a hilly estate near the outskirts of town.
