There is a very nice walk in the town itself. It is called the "Bank Walk". It takes about 1 hour and loops back to the town. Take the road to Killybegs and just after you cross the river turn left. Follow the path along the waters edge.  After a stoney beach follow the track right and the walk loops back and you will end up back a Micky McEntyres garage which is really just where you started.
