Presented to the City of Dublin in 1997, these statues were designed and crafted by sculptor Rowan Gillespie. They are to commemorate the Great Famine of the mid-19th century.

They are located along the north side of the River Liffey on Custom House Quay, just down river from the Custom House between the Talbot Memorial Bridge and the Sean O'Casey pedestrian bridge.Irish Famine Memorial
