Harrogate has a good local bus service, with most buses provided by Harrogate & District Travel - www.harrogateanddistrict.co.uk. Buses run throughout the town and to nearby Knaresborough, as well as to Wetherby, Leeds, Bradford, Otley, Skipton, Bolton Bridge, Pateley Bridge, Ripon and Boroughbridge.

Buses to Leeds and Ripon on service 36 - www.the36.co.uk run every 20 minutes on weekday daytimes, half-hourly on Sunday daytimes and hourly in the evening.

The bus and train stations are close to each other on Station Parade, near the centre of the town.
