Angelina is a famous Paris tearoom which first opened in 1903. This is a good place to bring friends for salads, pastries, snacks, and hot drinks after a walk in the Tuileries Garden. Recommended: the religieuse (double cream puff- small ball on top of large ball) filled with pistachio cream & kirsch, which is fabulously delicious, and the croque monsier with a very fluffy bechamel sauce.
Angelina has tearooms at Rue Rivoli, Musée du Luxembourg and at Versailles. There is also a Café Richelieu within Musée du Louvre that sells Angelina desserts.
