Overall crime in France has fallen in recent years, but visitors should still be cautious when on the public buses and when heading around touristy parts of Collioure. France generally has a have relatively low rate of violent crime however, and Collioure is a city with very low crime over. Female visitors shouldn’t worry too much about traveling around Collioure during the day, but as expected should use reasonable caution when venturing out at night.
