The most popular recreational activity in Juan-les-Pins is a day at the beach. While most of the other resorts in this area have pebble beaches, Juan-les-Pins boasts beaches of fine-grain sand. The main beach is Plage de Juan-les-Pins, with its public subdivisions that including Plage de la Salis and Plage de la Garoupe. All of the big beachfront hotels have concessions stands where you can rent a beach chair or a chaise and mattress. There are also plenty of snack stands. Remember that while topless sunbathing is acceptable, total nudity is not.

When you’re done lying on the beach, keep in mind that the water is safe for swimming, and scuba diving and water skiing opportunities are right at hand. For diving, check with your hotel to find a good company, or, check cote plongee to find out about diving options and kayaking. For water skiing, just stroll along the beach and you are sure to come to see rental counters. The same goes for sailing, big game fishing, and canoeing. For canoeing, you can rent one and enjoy to cruise along the cap d'Antibes. Another way is to walk around the cap on a nice rocky pat starting on La Garoupe beach.
