As the French Riviera is fabled for its clement weather, it is no surprise that St. Raphael boasts a mild, sunny climate. The warmest months are June through August, when average highs reach above 25 degrees C (80 F). During this time, average lows are around 17 degrees C (60 F). Summer is also the driest time of the year in St. Raphael. Only a handful of days per month see some rain on average. June, July and August also have an average of ten or more hours of sunlight per day.

During the winter (December, January and February), average highs hover around a mild 10 degrees C (50 F), while lows are in the upper-30s overnight. These months are the wettest, seeing between 8 and 10 days of rain on average, and the amount of sunlight per day wanes to an average of around four or five hours.

Summer is, of course, the most popular time to visit St. Raphael. August should especially be avoided, as prices are high, and most of France is on vacation for the entire month, crowding beaches and glutting hotels. Try visiting during the off-season, like in April or October, when the weather is still mild, and prices are a fraction of what they are during the high season.
