The Pueblo Español is like an open air architectural museum because it has reconstructions of almost a hundred monuments and buildings from the rest of Spain. This theme park was constructed between 1965 and 1967 by the renowned architect Fernando Chueca Goitia. It allows one to see what the rest of Spain looks like from one place. One can see demonstrations of artisans in their workshops and buy their handicrafts. One can see streets and plazas of Madrid, Cordoba, Seville, Granada and Toledo. What are considered very good reproductions are the Hermitage of San Antonio, the Patio de Los Arrayanes of the Alhambra, and the House of El Greco of Toledo. There are many bars and restaurants in the park also, where one can try typical food of each region. The park occupies a space of 6365 square meters.
