The Paseo Sagrera is a very pleasant seaside promenade that is about 500 meters long. It is located beside the Muelle Viejo. The street was constructed by the architect Gaspar Bennazar in 1910 on the eve of the Exposicion Regional de Baleares. On the street is the Lonja de Palma de Mallorca whose architect was Guillem Sagrera, whose name was given to the street.
There is a sculpture of Ramon Llull that is three meters high. Ramon Llull (1232-1315) is considered one of the fathers of Catalan literature. He wrote in Catalan, Latin and Arabic. The artist who made the sculpture in 1967 was Horacio de Eguia. The sculpture shows the man standing with a book on the left hand and a pen on the right hand.
There is another important sculpture, of Ruben Dario (1867-1916). He was born in Nicaragua, became a poet and became known as the Prince of Castilian Letters. This marble statue was made by Antoni Oliver in 1951. Ruben Dario spent some time in Valldemosa.
