Summer visitors can expect high temperatures near 90 degrees Fahrentheiht during the day, with lows at night around 65.  If you visit in the winter, highs of 50 degrees during the day are common, with lows dropping to 40.  For the mildest temperatures, May, June and October are recommended. 

The tourist season runs from April through August.  Expect to pay higher resort rates and experience more crowds during this period.  Be sure to book early if you're coming during these summer months.  Most people don't mind paying the higher rates to be able to enjoy the warm, sunny weather near the coast.  Winter visitors may enjoy lower rates, but they'll be stuck with cold and wet weather.
