Catch the local tram to Alicante, for views of the sea, coastline, villages and hills and to visit another town. A new way to sightsee. It is approximately a 1-hour journey.
The cost is roughly 3.75 euros for single (3 zones).
A local taxi could be taken to the tram/train station in Benidorm as it is a long uphill walk (approximately 30 minutes from the sea) or there are buses which go from very near the seafront, including at weekends.
There is seating for approximately 100 and room for over 200 standing on a typical tram on this service which also stops at small local stations. There is easy access for wheelchairs and direct to the centre of Alicante, with lift access to the surface once in Alicante.
Hop off from the last station stop and catch another tram if visiting the local Alicante seafront or marina is on your itinerary. A really good day out.
