CookinItaly is centrally located in the lively "Quadrilatero Romano" area, a few steps away from most of the hotels in town. The school is in a nice courtyard at the ground floor. It's open to italians (they have a courses calendar, with classes in Italian) and to foreigners (everybody in the staff speaks English). All the chefs are very professional and good in teaching. Good tips about the tecniques used in professional kitchens.
When you enquire you're asked to let them know what's your cooking level, from novice to professional; this lets them organize classes with students of a similar skill level.
The kitchen is large, with professional equipment, very functional and shaped to be perfect for its use.
The recipes taught come from the huge Italian tradition. All the classes are hands-on.
If you like to cook, it's really worth a try.
They sell mainly through their website www.cookinitaly.org, where it's possible to buy single cooking classes and tourist packages with 2 to 5 cooking classes. Contact them for information, ideas for your trip and quotations.
