If you want some good walks, get Toni Sepeda and Donna Leon's Book "Brunetti's Walks". Gives detailed Maps and REAL names of places to visit and eat in (as in the novels about Commisario Brunetti). Donna Leon has lived in Venice for 30 years and knows all the good places!! which she includes in her stories!! may be biased, but love Venice!! and her books!
