This is definitely a "home-style" restaurant, run by Vittorio, who waits on the tables, and his wife, who is in the kitchen. Vittorio is definitely a bit of a "character", but he can be seen at the Rialto fish and vegetable market early in the morning picking fresh produce and seafood for the day at the restaurant, and the meals show his taste. It is not someplace to go for someone in a hurry (Vittorio is usually the only waiter), but if the weather is nice, the tables outside are the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed-paced dinner from appetizers to home-made tiramisu and an "Elisir" after dinner digestif. Nothing fancy, nothing creative, just good food in a quiet environment.
