The Hague shares an airport with Rotterdam.
Founded in 1956,
Rotterdam The Hague Airport connects to several European capitals and holiday destinations and serves nearly a million passengers a year.
From the airport take the shuttle bus to Meijersplein. From there you can take RandstadRail (regional light rail) to The Hague. A taxi to the city will cost about 80 euros, depending on your exact destination in The Hague.
However, it is usually a better alternative to fly into Schiphol airport Amsterdam. The train station is located below the airport and it's an easy 30 minute commute to one of The Hague's main train stations Central station (Centraal or CS) or Hollands Spoor station (HS). A one way ticket is less than 10 euro.
If you’re coming in from Amsterdam by car, the ride is an easy forty five miles. Take A4 to A12 and then continue onto Utrechtsebaan, etc.
Major cities close to The Hague and outside Amsterdam include Brussels and London, and flights into Rotterdam, as well as train and Chunnel transport, are all excellent and quick ways to get to the city.
