The area around Ëvora is known for hot summers, plenty of sunshine most of the year but with cool breezes that make the evenings quite pleasant. The weather is actually quite mild year round, thanks to the warm Atlantic currents that move up from the Gulf of Mexico.

Summers in the Ëvora are dry and warm, with long periods of sunshine. While there are occasional summer rains, the months from June through August are typically the driest. Daytime temperatures are in the upper 80s and even into the 90s during the day, following to the low 70s at night. This summer heat usually lasts well into the early autumn months.

The winters, which last from last November to March can be cool, and a bit rainy, but temperatures rarely fall near freezing. During the day it isn’t uncommon for daytime temperatures to reach into the upper 50s or 60s, making it feel like spring while the calendar says it is winter.
