The Cyclades is a group of Greek islands located off of the mainland coast, southeast of Athens.

Many of these islands are popular tourist destinations and offer tourist tons of options for things to do while visiting.  Some of the most visited islands include Mykonos, Delos, Naxos, and Santorini.  Each of these islands has unique characteristics, offering guests activities specialized to their location, but there are many similarities between them.

Most of the Cyclades islands have great beaches, which is a major reason why so many people choose to vacation there.  White sand and crystal clear water is the norm, and water sports of all kinds can be found.  The most popular water sports that can be found on most of the islands are sea kayaking, sailing, jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling, and scuba diving.  The scuba diving in the Cyclades is generally very good, with a wide variety of terrain to explore and great visibility during certain times of the year.

Each island has its own history and culture, which means that there are sights to be seen on each island.
