No trip to Kyrenia is complete without a visit to the Lusignan Art and Craft Cafe Bar-Restaurant. This rustic restaurant is set in the picturesque Kyrenian back streets at Atilla Str 21, just down from the Round Tower.

It is run by Cem Tilki and serves typically Cypriot food prepared by his wife and mother. Cem is dedicated to preserving the Cypriot culture and heritage and to this end, in high season, he lays on a Cypriot Folk Evening on Wednesdays. This is an event not to be missed, fabulous cuisine and enthralling entertainment.

Be it for a lunch time break or an evening meal, you can be sure of delicious food with reasonably priced wines. In the heat of the day, try the home made lemonade - it's an absolute treat.

Booking is advised for the special evenings as they are fully suscribed.

Cem can be contacted by e mail at info@cypriotartc ulture.com

Cem  is a nice guy but can be a bit overpowering when he gets into a "sustainable tourism" rant, however. Definitely worth a visit particularly to escape the summer sun for a cold drink and a bit of shade. Less than 100 metres from the picturesque harbour.
