Hunderfossen Family Park

Maihaugen
During summer you can find animals all over the museum. In the backyard of the Olsen home in The Old Town there are rabbits and hens. In the four lakes wild ducks (mallards) settle throughout the warm season. Farm animals like horse, cows, goats and sheep graze or work in the rural part of the museum, and the pig and hens are kept at the Øygarden farm.
There are two different playgrounds within the museum. Try walking the nature path from the dancing ground, or playing in the more modern playground in the 20th-century collection.
Seeing craftsmen and -women working is fascinating. If you stop by at the Olsen home, you will find them living as in the 1930s. At the Øygarden farm, the family lives in the 1890s. A close-up from the past for children as well as for grownups.
Lilleputthammer
Lilleputthammer is a miniature copy of Lillehammer High Street. It is located next to Øyer Gjestegård.The small,charming wooden houses have been built on a scal of 1:4, with a miniature railway and large playground and activities for children.
Jorekstad
You can jump, exercise in the water, dive, work out, take a sauna or simply relax while the kids have a good time in the swimming pool and the water slide. Take your kids and have a ball! Jorekstad recreational swimming pool is suitable for all age groups.
As of the summer 2006, Jorekstad Fritidsbad will be complete indoor/outdoor bathing facilty offering approx. 1100sq.m of pool area (25m competition pool - 28 degrees C, specially heated pool - 34 degrees C, indoor baby pool - 33,5 degrees C and 33x13m outdoor pool - 25 degrees C). The facility will also offer 1m, 3m and 5m diving towers, four water slides, a climbing wall, a Jacuzzi, a water pit, a sauna, a steam bath and a sandvolleyball court.
