During a stay in Weymouth Nothe Fort was visited on a misty Tuesday. It seems to be easier to walk there from Weymouth as it is a bit of a detour by road. It was only £6 to gain admission and well worth it. There are exhibitions on the naval history of Weymouth and the 2nd World War. The views from the top of the fort are outstanding. The staff, who are volunteers, were very helpful. It is well worth a visit - follow it with a tour of the lifeboat on the harbour.
