The coldest month of the year is January when the average winter high temperature is approximately fifty five degrees and the average low temperature is just below fifty degrees. This means that the winters in the area are mild, making it a place which is not good for winter sports such as skiing but which may be a welcome winter respite area for people from colder areas of the world.
Summers in the area are also mild. The hottest month of the year is August, when the average low temperature is just above seventy five degrees and the average high temperature is between eighty five and ninety degrees. The summer is also the time when there is the least rain in the area, making it an excellent time to visit the area. However, it also the time when the most tourists head to the area so it can get quite crowded and rates on local accommodations are generally higher at this time of year.
Late spring and early autumn are terrific times to head to the area. The tourists are not crowding in the area but the weather is beautiful enough to enjoy the beaches for which the area is known. October and November are the months to avoid for travelers who do not like rain, although these rainiest of months only average approximately two inches of rain each so they shouldn’t be too bothersome.
