The Darling River Run is an Australian driving experience that showcases the best of the history of Australia, both indigenous and European.  Explore Outback Stations and sleep by the mighty Darling River.  This journey is mostly on solid dirt road and in full is about 1,000 kilometres, but you can choose to do sections or the whole lot!  Choice is yours.

The 'Run' starts at Walgett and follows the course of the Darling River through Brewarrina, Bourke, Louth, Tilpa, Wilcannia, Menindee, Pooncarie and then on to the confluence with the mighty Murray River at Wentworth. The Darling River Run is not simply point A to point B but the river forms the spine of the journey as there are a vast amount of options for the traveller in the surrounding area. Unique towns (Lightning Ridge and White Cliffs), wonderful National Parks (Paroo-Darling, Gundabooka, Mutawintji, Kinchega, and Mungo), and not forgetting the jewel of Western NSW, Broken Hill.
