Travelers are reminded that the seasons in New South Wales are experienced in the opposite time of year as those seasons in the northern hemisphere.   What this means is that when visitors from Europe and North America leave their homes during summer months, they will be heading towards the coldest months of the year in New South Wales .

However, with the moderate temperature of the region, those coldest months are not really all that cold.  July is usually the months with the lowest temperatures, during which time the average low temperature is just below fifty degrees and the average daytime temperature gets into the high sixties.  This is excellent weather for enjoying the warmer regions of the area.  During the warmest months of the year, temperatures generally only average about ten degrees warmer than during those cold months which means that it is comfortable to visit the area at almost any time.

It rains anywhere from two and one half inches to five inches each month of the year.   The month which is least rainy is usually September which marks the beginning of the drier season in New South Wales .   The rainiest month is usually March or April.   Detailed rainfall and temperature averages for all months of the year can be accessed online at http://www.wordtravels.com/Travelguid... .
