Mantaray is a day trip boat operating from Abel Point Marina, Airlie Beach. Every day it travels an itinerary that includes Whitehaven Beach/ Hill Inlet, Tongue Point lookout overlooking Whitehaven Beach and a snorkel / dive location. Depending on tides and conditions the order may be different or changed. When ever possible, "Mantaray" visits its "name sake" bay on the North Eastern tip of Hook Island. Mantaray Bay is a small bay with moorings for just two vessels. Mantaray Bay is considered one of the premium snorkel / dive locations in the Whitsunday group as it is a fully protected green zone. The quality of the coral is unquestionably excellent and the marine life plentiful. More than 50% of the visits to Mantaray Bay include a visit from the resident Mouri Wrasse. This giant colourful fish is happy to swim around while you snorkel / dive.

The vessel Mantaray is 16.5 metres long and carries a maximum of 36 passengers, making it friendly and intimate for couples, groups, or making friends along the way.

There is a great lunch, courtesy bus, knowledgable skipper crew and dive master on board, making a complete, friendly and comfortable experience of the Whitsundays all in one day.
