When: Tuesday, January 20th - Times to be announced - usually 1-5 pm or so.

Tickets: Not required, but expensive seats in bleachers will be sold by the Inaugural Committee along Pennsylania Avenue, the parade route.

The presidential inaugural parade is coordinated by the Armed Forces Inaugural Committee (AFIC) which includes members from all branches of the armed forces of the United States. Since 1789, the U.S. armed forces have participated in this important American tradition honoring the commander in chief.

To participate in the parade, contact the Armed Forces Inaugural Committee.

The best views, other than the expensive bleacher seats, are from the offices overlooking the parade route.  Now is the time to go though your contacts and see who might be having a parade party at their office.  Many law firms, washington representatives and others doing business in Washington have parties, on which you must be on their list, as security prevails.

Information will be posted when the Inaugural Committee is set up, as the Armed Forces committee does not handle tickets to the parade, balls or other events.  Keep checking www.change.gov.
