Bike and Roll Washington DC (formerly Bike the Sites) offers day and night (Sites@Nite) bike tours from March through November. All tours are three hours and include the guide, bike rental, helmet, water and a snack.

The Capital Sites tour (7-8 miles; easy ride) provides an overview of the the city from the Captiol Hill, Smithsonian musuems, monuments and war memorials; the group makes frequent stops during which the guide will share history and unique facts; a great way to get the lay of the land when you first arrive in DC! The Monuments tour (3-4 miles; easy ride) focuses on the monuments and memorials on the Mall and the Tidal Basin; on this tour, you are able to hop off your bike and take a closer look during each stop. Both tours are also offered as Sites@Nite tours.

You can also rent Trek comfort bikes, performance bikes, road bike and tandem bikes.  Children’s bikes and accessories such as tandem trailers and burleys are also available. All rentals come with a helmet, U-lock, bike rack, flat kit and city map. You may even rent from one shop and ride one-way to another location for a small drop-off fee.
