Coral Island is close to Phuket and ideal for a daytrip as it is only 15 minutes by speed boat or 30 minutes by traditional longtail boat. There are different beaches though. The big one is the one where all the speedboats take you. The beach front restaurant serves delicious fresh food to all tastes and western toilets and showers are on site. There are join on tours as well as completely private arrangements. Coral Island Club also arranges over night hotel stays at Long Beach.

It is important to note that Banana Beach is the only beach within 35 kilometers of Phuket where there is sheltered waters in the monsoon season (May to November) making it the perfect destination all year round.
