Brunei enjoys plenty of sunshine all year round with a typical day time temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, dropping to 24 degrees Celsius at night. Situated safely away from the typhoon and earthquake belts, natural disasters are unheard of. The distinction between wet and dry seasons is somewhat marginal and rainfall varies from 2500mm annually on the coast to 7500mm in the interior. The rainfall can be quite heavy for short spells.
