This 'museum' is basically an old villa where 19 people from the Messila Resistance were tortured and killed during the 1991 Iraqi invasion.

Situated on Road 208 (and extremely difficult to find) it's worth the 2KD (4 pound) taxi ride.  The museum is free although it's 'expected' you tip the staff when leaving.

From the outside you can see a building  full of bullet holes with large pieces of wall missing from cannon fire as well as old Iraqi intelligence vehicles which, are in a bad state of disrepair.

The musem hasn't been kept well, in true Kuwaiti tradition but nevertheless it's worth a visit.  There are a lot of photo's - a shrine to those who lost their lives here - making a storybook account of the events that took place.
