HiSeoul , the web presence for the Seoul Metropolitan Government, provides an easy user interface to troves of tourist information for travelers to Seoul .   Though much of the Seoul site is geared towards residents, businesses, and people interested in Korean current events, the Culture & Tourism drop-down on HiSeoul’s home links to travel tips, attractions, activities, anecdotes, and comprehensive recommendations for shopping, accommodations and more.

Seoul Searching
attempts to compensate for its amateur design with puns (“Seoul searching,” “Seoul survivor,” etc).  Despite its cheesiness, Seoul Searching is excellent at providing links to sites relevant to tourists, and its English Assistance section provides a comprehensive list of English-speaking media and help centers as well as of international medical centers that will make any future American visitor feel more secure upon arrival.

For greater South Korean traveler assistance with strong emphasis on Seoul, The Official Korea Tourism Guide site is a glittery go-to geared towards tourists.  Check out the drop down menu for food, accommodation, or sightseeing information.  The last section is particularly impressive, as you can search for attractions by either region or theme.  Furthermore, throughout the site lists and recommendations are often visibly divided between Seoul and the rest of the country.  Since most of South Korea of interest to visitors is easily accessible via Seoul, The Official Korea Tourism Guide web is a wonderfully easy-to-use virtual file cabinet of everything to explore while there.
