The Micronesian islands are close to the equator and thus enjoy the dreamy, tropical weather typical to the islands around this region. This accounts for its alluring image as a snorkeling and fishing destination, as well as a haven for relatively uninhabited, secluded white beaches and impressive blue water. The weather is ideal for outdoor activities and water expeditions.
The temperature ranges from 75 to 90 degrees, almost guaranteed, every day of the year, offering very little to complain about. In addition, there are very refreshing trade winds that blow into the island and offer relief from the heat. These trade wind blow the strongest between March and October, which is a nice time to visit the island. Thus, even though it is generally very humid, the winds on the coasts are a cooling force. The humidity is at its strongest between November and February. However, this should really not detract people enough from visiting the islands. Compared to most other weathers, this type of climate is ideal.
One thing to note is that there is also a rain season in Micronesia. This time period usually lasts from around November to April. If one is visiting at this time, they should anticipate rains and pack rain gear.
