Begin December we booked a 10 days safari with Magical Safaris, and were very well taken care of by our driver (Nelson) and guide (Charles). We requested for moderate camps and some lodges and the only hotel which was disappointing was the overnight in 680 in Nairobi . It was a combined flight and road safari with a balloon flight in Masai Mara and a night game drive in Tsavo West. Last September my wife and I returned from our honeymoon in Kenya . It was all that we hoped for and even more! The tour organisation we booked with is called Magical Safari and after reading our review below I guess you can imagine why we can recommend them without any doubt: Magical-Safaris: www.magical-safaris.webs.com Email: info@magicalsafari.com.  It was our first visit to Kenya and we wanted it to be really special as it was our honeymoon. We decided to go for a private safari and book at a local company. This would allow us to put together an itinerary that suited our wishes best, and would also allows us to go out on safari (or stay at the lodge) whenever we pleased. A major concern to us (booking abroad) was the reliability of the tour company. To limit the risk, we enquired with a number of different operators, recommended to us on this forum and on a Dutch forum. Of all these different tour operators Magical Safari was the company that responded with the most extensive information including cost breakdowns. This helped us enormously in putting our trip together that suited our budget. Many, many questions (and answers) later we were convinced that Magical Safari would try the hardest to make our trip a success. After a couple of telephone call to ensure ourselves (again J) about the reliability we decided to take the ‘gamble’. Fortunately, it paid of as we were serviced with the highest quality we could expect before, and during our safari. Before our trip we received text messages to wish us a happy marriage, confirmation of our deposit, and good flights. They arranged a bird book during safari as we mentioned during the preparations that we enjoy bird watching!
