You should also definately check out some of the Spa's when in Jakarta.  Spa's in most hotels are great but much much more expensive than you would pay outside. Ask the concierge for a reccomendation for one and ask her to book on your behalf. Prices for a 2 hour aromatheraphy massage should be 80,000 rupiah which works out to be around US$8. Spa's in hotel's are easily four times the price and not worth it.
