The town of Sigatoka does not have its own form of public transportation. The town is too small for it to really need one, and the only people that would truly need the public transportation system are the tourists. Though there is no uniform subway or bus system throughout the town, there are buses that run from larger resort areas to the town. These buses run a few times a day and pick up and drop off loads of tourists. You can generally get tickets either at your hotel or resort, or at the bus stop itself. Once you are in the town, you will find that you really don't need a public transportation system anyway. All of the markets and other attractions of the town are located in a very close range, and it is nice to walk around the town. Part of the beauty of the town is that it isn't built up and ruined by lots of cars and smog. If you need assistance in getting around the town when you get there, you can ask a local for help and they will do what they can for you. Make sure you find out when the last bus leaves the town, otherwise you will be there all night.
