Filadelfia Coffee Tour

Genuine Antigua Plantation

This old world plantation sits on the edge of the city of Antigua.  R. Dalton Estate offers visitors tours that includes every element of coffee productions from planting through each step of cultivation and harvesting to roasting.   The grounds are beautifully landscaping while tours are conducted by uniformed  and well educated staff.  The imaculate facilities still operate on this 900 acre farm and also operates and adjoining ecological tourist resort and spa.

If you decide to take the escorted mule ride along the trail leading toward the top of  the 8000 feet high mountain you can enjoy  a bird's-eye view of the Antigua valley.  During the tour of the coffee facility an expert guide takes you though the process while answering all questions.  See how 200 acres of "arabica" coffee has been grown for several generations under environmentally friendly conditions.

Enjoy the coffee museum at tour end and have a fresh cup of estate coffee.  Filadelfia coffee and souvenirs are available.

There are two tours at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday through Friday and one tour at 10 a.m. on Saturday.  Check out the reviews and information on TripAdvisor's  Filadelfia Coffee Resort and Spa page or visit the website http://www.rdaltoncoffee.com.
