The River Krka National Park has the biggest and most famous waterfalls in whole Dalmatia, situated 20 km from Šibenik. With its 7 beautiful waterfalls, 242 m long, the river Krka is a real beauty. Numerous tours run to Krka from Split region and there are several options: bus tour for up to 50 passengers, small group trip with vans that seat up to 8 guests + guide/chauffeur or private tours that are fully customized and run on request only.

There are several sections of the river to consider and all of them are open to public. Upper part of the river starts in Knin and amazing Krcic waterfall is one of the main attractions of that section. Slowly moving south, river Krka reaches Ivosevci and ruins of Burnum, Roman military camp. Just bellow the ruins is Manojlovac waterfall which is not easy to get to but well worth it. One of the most amazing hiking trails in Dalmatia! The river flows south to Manastirska Draga and Serbian Orthodox Monastery which holds a very unique collection of artwork but also Roman graves deep in the basement. 

Krcic waterfalls is next stop and that area has an offical entrance and one can just pass through it or stop and pay the ticket.. Krcic is famous for small waterfalls thjat look like necklaces.
Next attraction after Krcic is Visovac monastery on a small island and this is one of the most attractive visiting spots in season. Boats from Skradinski buk/Lozovac  run regulary to Visovac and to Krcic. Tours of both locations are available.
Most popular part of this national park is Skradinski buk area with lovely planked trails going around and over main waterfalls. Beach is right bellow the biggest waterfall. Boats connect this area with Skradin and there are buses going to Lozovac entrance in the season to prevent crowds.

For group tours, most agencies in Split offer either bus or small group program and there are a few specialists for private and custom tours who can combine other attractions like wine tasting, exclusive lunches or historic hiking on nearby sites.It is ideal destination for shore trips as can combine lots of local heritage.

Alternatively, you can charter a private boat and sail to Krka yourself. This gives you the option to exlore all the beautiful secluded bays, beaches and coves. There are many boat charter companies in Split who you can hire a boat from.
