There is plenty of information about Lahore available online and should be looked at by anybody planning a trip to the area.

            For the first time visitor to Pakistan, a good place to begin doing some research is on the Official Website of the Lahore City Government.  Here, one will find lots of general information about how the city is run, including laws, education, agriculture, health and public transport.  There are also tourist specific links on the site.  The attractions link has information about places of interest, hotels, restaurants, transport, shopping, maps, and upcoming events.  The events link provides a calendar with things happening every day of the month. 

            A good way to get to know an area better is by studying its geography.  Make sure to look at the Map of Pakistan and the Map of Lahore before leaving home.
