Aqaba Adventure Divers are located midway between the container terminal and the Royal Diving Club.

A single dive including equipment rental costs 24 JD. This is a bargain for a one hour dive. Time constraints only allowed a single dive, the location being the spectacular Gorgon One Reef.

Led by an experienced and knowledgeable instructor, everything of interest was pointed out and plenty of time was given over to taking photo's.

Surprisingly the cost is for a one on one dive. Unlike other dive centres in the area, Aqaba Adventure Divers where happy for the trade, and didn't need a minimum number to make a dive.

Diving from the shore to a depth of ten metres, the marine life rapidly shows itself. Brain Coral,Table Coral, Fire Coral, and monolithic Cabbage Coral fill this underwater world with dashes of colour and lend a picturesque background for the plethora of fish and other aquatic life that populates the reef. Parrot and Puffer fish, Lion and Clown fish, Turtles and Rays are just afew of the welcoming hosts you witness as they invite you into their underwater home.

Back on Terra Firma, there is a high level of professionalism, with new compressors pushing clean air into the tanks, and technicians swiftly cleaning and sterilising equipment ready for the next customer.
