Wondering what the beach at Bitez is like?  The beach is sandy, but narrow and steep in the middle of the resort.  It is much better along the sides, especially on the right side as you are looking out to sea.  This beach is especially popular with windsurfers since there is always a breeze.  One of the best times for a beach getaway is September when the water is at its warmest temperature. 

At night the sea can become really smelly.  Locals say they don't swim at the beach in Bitez, however, the resort makes up for what it lacks in the beach department. If you want to swim in beautiful clear waters you can always take a £7 boat trip that lasts 7 hours with lunch provided.
