Created by Lucy Buffett aka "LuLu", sister of famous music legend Jimmy Buffett; "LuLu's at Homeport" is a wildly popular Spring and Summer destination and offers up what most people could possibly want in a mix of the Carribean meets Dixie. Located alongside the Intra-Coastal Waterway at Marker number 155, be prepared to wait up to 2 hours during peak season,  however the wait is worth it and you can roam around inside and out anytime, picking up a beverage, or a snack along the way.

Lulu's consistent quality of fried seafood specialties include Fried Crab Claws, Gumbo and the Cheeseberger in Paradise. Attractive menus for adults and kids include salads, seafood baskets, and thier creative desserts all which are a draw for locals in the off season. Everything here creates it's the ambience, and nightly live entertainment and the crowd makes LuLu's a for sure stop in your travels and visit to gulf Shores.

LuLu's gounds boast a very large parking area, newly built Pavillion for large gatherings, events and weddings. The property includes a gigantic beach hundreds of feet long with a tiki bar with food serivice, games and activities for kids and adults. Special events include Bon fire Saturday's, and a 20 foot movie screen that plays fun surfer type movies for all ages. All year long more special events like American Idol night make LuLu's definitely different from the rest.

 Barges, and more pass by the long deck filled with tables, and one a regular basis boats pull up alongside the  dock on the waterway, dock and the sailors walk in for a good time. Attached to Lulu's is Homeport Marina, and there are plenty of million dollar boats to look at  too.
